Shiatsu
Holistic bodywork for regulation and relief.
Shiatsu is a mindful form of bodywork originating from Japanese tradition. Through gentle, focused pressure along specific energy pathways (meridians), the body’s natural self-regulation is supported. During periods of stress or overwhelm, tension often accumulates in the body. Shiatsu can help release these tensions and promote inner balance.
What is Shiatsu?
The word Shiatsu means “finger pressure.” The treatment is performed through calm and attentive pressure using the hands, thumbs, or elbows.
The aim is to:
-
release blockages
-
reduce tension
-
harmonize the flow of energy in the body
When Shiatsu can be helpful
-
ongoing stress
-
muscle tension
-
exhaustion
-
sleep difficulties
-
inner restlessness
-
feelings of overload or excessive demands
